My real chips..

Ok so I've been left in on my own and I'm starving.... No baby?.... I'm frying!! :)

So these are my real chips... Trust me and try it! It worth the pans! (and the calories).

First - pour a glass of wine.

Chop some spuds up into wedges, leave the jackets on :)

Par boil them in a pan with a pinch if salt.

Drain them and shake to bash them :) this will allow them to go all crispy round the edges..

Now shallow fry for 5 mins till they start browning.. Mmmmmmm

Now heat sone oil in a roasting tin in the oven at 180• and bung the chips in it.. Oven for about 5 mins, pull them out. Shake and salt and stick em back in!

Now watch them brown and crisp up.. When your happy take them out and drain on some kittchen roll..

Now put them with a beetroot salad, coleslaw and mayo.

I like to dress my salad with Gino's lemon oil, vinegar and black pepper.

Enjoy! X

What happened..

Well, I did it! .....no I never lost a stone, infact I'm still 10st 7. But I WAS Gaga! Haha. What a laugh! I totally loved it. I did some awesome smokey eyes for the occasion too!

I was a little 'curvy' for gaga but I found the best way round it was a steel boned corset! Yes, the real deal. And all of a sudden I had a 24'' waist ;)

I had a fabulous dancer to take the attention away from my nervous (and quite tipsy) performance. So a massive thanks to Steph Denman for all her hard work and fabulous moves!

By the way!!.... I made the shoulder cuff! Really! I really enjoyed getting creative again too. Its basically a shoulder pad from the market (16p) a bunch of ribbon and feathers then a hair flower clipped on and sewn to my bra strap :)

So there you go, i did it. And for those of you that couldnt make it to the charity night you will find a video on youtube somewhere.... If you search for the right thing ;) I'm utterly embarrassed about it, mainly because I was horrendously drunk.

Peace out x

Day 6

Well time is flying now! I've been rubbish on my diet but I have tried to exercise more.

I've been mainly surviving off cups of tea in the day on top of breakfast, until dinnertime when i'd have a big tea. I know that's bad and really unhealthy, I said to Yvette on Saturday night that I was worried about irresponsible blogging but I figure as long as I acknowledge my errors you won't be stupid enough to copy me.

Today I've had 2 brews. And a toasted tea cake. It's lunchtime now tho and I'm getting peckish...

I've done my shake weight workout already but I think I'll do another later on because my arms are still floppy :/

BINGO!!!

But yesterday at ASDA I bought a fridge full of fresh meat and veg plus fruit and juice. So this week will be a healthy one.

it's now 3pm and I'm tucking into some berries. Berries are 'fast' foods, they basically speed up your metabolism as does, prawns, tuna and iced water I've been told.

Tomorrow Coops is spending the day with Granny Maz so I will get chance to get tithe leisure centre finally and join the gym :)

4pm: I weigh 10st 7 and I'm measuring in at 37-30-41.

Day 1

Happy Friday!!

So here's my 1st day on the big dietacise!

8am
I'm up and feeding the baby.
Joggers are on to get me in the right frame of mind.
Brew made and drank! (1 sugar)

9.30
Brew #2 and a banana.
6min shake weight

12 midday
Well it's gone wrong already! Brad came home for lunch and brought me a Greens Meat and Potato Pie! I also had a can of Coke :s So I will have to do double exercise today now...

4pm
Haven't snacked all day. Nor had a drop since 12. Howeer I have exercised my fingers on eBay. I'll wait now till Dinner and as it's Bonfire Night I may have a glass of vino or an Italian Lager ;)

6pm
Had a glass of milk because I'm utterly starving!

Now were off to Dereks for fireworks and food. So I'm hoping there will be nice salad :( however I do have some wine to distract me.

Today I weigh 10st 7 so I've done ok with no snacking I suppose :)

Chippy tea

Last night of freedom!

Goal = Gaga

Not blogged in a while, but I was double busy with it being October half term and halloween.

Today though is a fresh start! In 2 weeks i'm performing as Lady Gaga or charity. I agreed to this months ago, assuming by now (10 weeks post natal) I'd be back in a size 10....err, try a snug 14!

Thing is, being a new mum. It's difficult to find any time to prepare anything so I tend to live off biscuits, brews and bananas in the day and eat well at dinner when brad gets home.. Hmm so this is going to be hard.

The challenge:
*Lose 1 stone in 1 week, healthily with diet and excercise*

This is the look I'm going for on the night, so as you can see, I have to lose a stone..

My current weight is 10st 8.5lb

My measurements in inches are:
Bust 37"
Waist 31"
Hips 42" (if your measuring yours it needs to be your widest part ie bum/leg/hips bit..)

Today I bought trainers! Yes trainers! My first pair since I was 19! (I'm 31 now) The sports shop experience was daunting to say the least. I felt too big and too stylish to be in there. It was like "to russia with love" meets "the biggest loser" wardrobe! Anyway I managed it and walked away with these comfy things and some far too comfy joggers! ;)

So first things first.. Last night of food freedom.. Chippy at Grandma Ev's!

Autumn Eyes

This autumn eyes get smudgy.

Mauves, pinks, browns... Yum

Apply just as you would smokey eyes with a lighter colour to the middle of the socket and darker in the socket and blend blend blend..

Use this look with nude lips and throw on a camel cape :)

Nude lips have the x factor

Did you notice Dannii's 'nude' lips on the xfactor last night?

They were lovely.

If you want to opt for the nude look thi autumn to go with your Camel Klobba this is the bet way to Make up it...

X-Factor contestant make-up artist Adam De Cruz says this look is really easy to re-create...

"First of all make sure your lips are scrubbed and moisturised. Then rub in a concealer on the lips. Use a light brown lipliner and line your lips and blend into the concealer.

"After this you can just apply gloss or you can put on a caramel like lipstick colour on and blend into the lipline. Perfect nude lips!"

Did it I think..

After the post office I went to tesco for baby milk. While I was there I also bought some baby rice and rusks. I know they say 4m+ but I'm tempted to try him, and I did. But he was just confused and craving a teat een after 6oz of milk so I just gave up and finished the bottle. I'll try again in a few weeks if he's still not sleeping :/ saying that he's fairly food drunk now!

Brads working late now so I gonna have to cancel some plans but it may give me chance to practice making chocolate lollys before lex comes up Sunday :)

If I do I'll blog the results later x

Lunchtime

Brad came home at lunchtime. So he made me a sandwich and a fresh brew :)))

Coops fell asleep for 10 mins. So I dried my hair, ironed his clothes and sterlilised bottles.

He woke up, we got changed.... and he pooed.

Were now feeding again, but were ready so the sec he's done were gettin in that car!... I WILL post these items today! Lol

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

First bit done ish

Ok so..

I managed to have a quick bath with coops in his rocker and there were no tears!

He sat vibrating whilst I washed and dried we then went to the bedroom where I dressed and did a 2 min make up (flawless brush on powder foundation, coralista blush and badgal blue mascara -all benefit). However we never got to dry my hair, that would have upset my newborn somewhat :o

So now were back on the sofa. I have a brew and four Fox's butter crunch infront of me, agreeing baby and bottle on my left and my iPhone in my right. And he's poo'd.... Decision time...

Break off from a sleepy feed and do the bum or feed and have brew then do bum? Hmm...

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

To do..

People tell you how hard it is to get stuff done when you have a baby. And i've seen movies where the mum is rushing kids into the car half dresses and laughed but thought, 'that won't be me tho'.. If you know me you'll know I'm a do-er. I like to think I can tackle anything, but just getting out of the house is proving difficult to say the least.. So today these are the basic things I hve to do, baring in mind my son is 8 weeks old and doesn't sleep In the day and won't sit in his own for more than 3 mins.....

First feed done, poo done, my brew done... Now..

Bath/shower (with coops crying)
Dry (with coops crying)
Moisturise(with coops crying)
Makeup (with coops crying)
Hair(with coops crying)
Dress(with coops crying)
Change coops bum
Bath coops
Dress coops
Feed coops (45mins)
Wind coops (10mins)
Eat something..anything (usually of a Fox's brand:/)
Wash bottles(with coops crying)
Make up change bag(with coops crying)
Find my keys(with coops crying)
Put eBay parcels in the car(with coops crying)
Put pram chassy in car(with coops crying)
Make sure I'm totally ready to leave the house
Put baby in car seat and in car
Illegally park outside post office with hopes that they also sell baby milk.
Get baby out, assemble pram chassy, put wheels on, put carseat on.
Weigh 29 parcels and post
Dismantle pram chassy, remove wheels. Put baby back in car.
Go home
Eat more biscuits
Feed coops
Wind coops
Change coops bum and clothes coz he poo'd up his back to his armpits..
Play with coops

Have a wee
Make a brew
Eat biscuits
Coops cries, nurse him to sleep (20 mins)
Put him down - he wakes up..
Make up bottles with one hand with a baby in one arm.
Nurse coops to sleep again
Mark all eBay as dispatched
Coops wakes
Feed coops
Wind coops
Change coops bum..
Coops sleeps
Brad comes home, I moan about my back, he ignores me, and wonders what I've been doing all day, and makes reference jokes about me wearing hoodies and joggers..forgetting that I'm very aware of how hot I used to be thank you very much. ;/

Movie and a Cobra

Well this evening we had some grown up time. Grandad Derek babysat and we went to the flicks. Last time we went it was to see Nanny McPhee and the time before; Tooth Fairy... A trend is emerging... Haha. So this evening instead of parenting we chose to go and see a film about Parenting..

'life as we know it' was good, well it was no 'inception' but for a bit of light humour it's good! Especially as we are new parents, the comedic struggles of taking care of a baby made us chuckle. Plus Fergie's fella Josh thingybob is HOT Hot!

Although I have to say the hottest cast member was easily Christina Hendricks. What a sexy woman she is. Redheads are back!

..oh and like a fool on toast we forgot to use our 241, so I'm skint now coz it was about £3000 for 2 pepsi's...

Cover it

Nobody is perfect, as we know. We all have things on our skin that have bothered us at some point or continue to bother us. Surgery is only a last resort! You can easily cover your flaws with make up.

Flaws such as blemishes, dark circles, rosacea etc.

If you have red skin (acneic or rosecea), you need to use the opposing color - green - in order to neutralize the red. There are many green primers (ex.Make Up Forever) or green mixers (MAC) that you can mix in with your foundation. If you have blue-ish purple dark circles underneath your eyes, you have to use a warmer color such as peach to neutralize it. Most under-eye concealers will have the peachy tone; but you have to make sure you use the right level of shade for you. If you generally have very pink skin, try and use a yellow based foundation to neutralize your skin tone. Vice, versa, if you have too much yellow in your skin, use a pinker foundation (not too much!) to give yourself a healthier glow.

Then of course, comes highlighting and shading! Rule of thumb: highlighters pop and shaders recede the area. For example, if you dont have the perfect nose, just highlight straight down the middle and shade down the sides to give it the illusion of a straight nose.

Same goes for your cheeks; if you want to pop your cheekbones, you need to highlight the upper cheekbone to make it pop, and shade right underneath it to give your cheeks a more defined look. With practice, you will learn what works best for you. Hope this helps guys!
